The Demogorgon is a fictional monster in Stranger Things. He’s a monster that lives in the Upside down, an alternate dimension of the existing. In the first season, the Demogorgon captures Will Byers and he’s prisoned in the alternate universe in his mom’s, Joyce Byers house. He tries to communicate with her using lights in the house and eventually he puts up Christmas lights with letters under it to communicate. The Demogorgon captured and killed Shepard, Barbara Holland, Hunters Dale and Henry. The only surviving person that was captured is Will Byers. We see at the end of the season he’s suffering visions of the alternate universe and nose bleeds. It’s possible there is something growing inside him that belongs to the Demogorgon.
