Ant-Man appears in several different Marvel Comics created by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber and Jack Kirby. Ant Man’s first appearance was in January 1962 – Tales to Astonish #27. Ant Man stole the super suit to save his daughter from a heart condition. At the encouragement of Dr. Hank Pym, he trains and learns how to use the suit and eventually learns how to command an army of ants. Later he becomes an affiliate of the Fantastic Four and most recently a member of the Avengers. With his suit he can transform into a size of an ant but maintains stength of normal size.
