Groot is one of the fictional characters in the Marvel Comics – Guardians of the Galaxy. The comic books are created by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby and Dick Ayers. The movie that came out in 2014 and smashed the box office, Groot was voiced by Vin Diesel. Groot’s best friend is Rocket the Raccoon. He also works with Gamora, Star Lord and Drax the Destroyer. Dressing up and finding a Groot costume would be great this Halloween. Groot first appeared as an invader that intended to capture humans for experiments. Later he joined the team Guardians of the Galaxy. Groot is a tree-like being from Planet X, capital of the branch worlds. Their language is impossible to understand causing to whatever Groot says to sound like “I am Groot”. Groot absorbs wood as foot and has the ability to regenerate. He can control trees using them to attach others and is resistant to fire. He can sprout dramatically increasing mass but affects his ability to move. Groot has been killed many times but can regenerate and grow again from a sprig. He’s exceptionally gifted and highly intelligent. I AM GROOT!
